We Can Help
How
We Can Help:
Our
patients and families have taught us many creative ways
to offer help. We can help a family cope with a treatment
avoider. We can help professionals in evidence based
treatment. We can help a patient in decision making.
The first step is to contact Kelly Furr and request
a phone consultation with one of us to discuss how to
begin. If you are unsure, this is the best place to
start; get more information and talk with a knowledgeable
therapist to help you decide what to do. This is a confidential
phone call. Request for consultation does not provide
treatment, but assists with explaining how treatment
is conducted from a knowledgeable professional.

patients complete a Behavioral Assessment, Diagnostic
Interview, and Program acceptance before assigned to
any of the following levels of care:
- Intermediate
Care / Intensive Outpatient Program / Day Program
This level of treatment is as an outpatient. However,
treatment occurs more than one hour a week. The number
of treatment hours vary according to individual needs.
Most typically, treatment sessions are 2-4 hours a
day, five to six days a week. Treatment is a combination:
Group, Individual, and/or family sessions. Sessions
are individualized to each patient.Out of State patients
stay at a residence of their choice. Assistance with
finding accommodations can be arranged with Kelly Furr, Intermediate Care Program Coordinator for the Anxiety Disorders Center.
- Outpatient
