Laila Merz, Ph.D is a licensed Health Psychologist (in MO & CA) and received her PhD from the California School of Professional Psychology - San Diego, California (Alliant International University). Dr. Merz is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Medicine, Internal Family Systems, and Biofeedback and Neurofeedback. She has been treating outpatient and inpatient clients since 1999. Her Specialties lie in an array of clinical areas, such as, Anxiety and Eating Disorders, Psycho-physiological Ailments (mind-body connection), Trauma, and Family Therapy. Dr. Merz has extensive experience working with children/adolescents and adults. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association.
