Mary Curran, Ph.D.
Mary Curran, Ph.D.
Dr. Curran is
a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Benedictine Sister,
earned a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln,
in 1976, and completed post-doctoral work at the
University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio,
TX is 1978. Past director of Catholic Family Services
for the Diocese of Sioux Falls for 14 years, Dr. Curran,
is a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional
Psychology, certified with the National Register of
Health Service Providers in Psychology and Approved
Supervisor of the American Association of Marriage &
Family Therapist. She treats clients in both the
Macklind and West County offices. In addition to the
general personal, relational and employment issues
presented by children, adolescents, adults, and seniors,
Dr. Curran’s specialties include couple and family
therapy, grief and loss issues, divorce issues, physical
and sexual abuse, and spiritual concerns.
