Sara L. Timmerman, Psy.D.
Dr. Timmerman
is a licensed clinical psychologist. She received her
doctorate from Nova Southeastern University and
completed per post-doctoral training at the Institute
for Child and Adolescent Development in Massachusetts.
As a member of the Child and Adolescent Services team,
she works with children, adolescents, and their families
manifesting a variety of difficulties. Her specialties
include, but are not limited to, the treatment of
anxiety disorders, attention deficit and hyperactive
behaviors, depression, oppositional and defiant
behavior, and familial stressors. She has extensive
experience in play therapy and its application in the
treatment of young children. She currently sees clients
at the Macklind Avenue and West County offices.
