Teresa Humphreys, Ph.D.
Teresa Humphreys, Ph.D., M.S., ED
is a licensed psychologist. She received her Ph.D. in
Psychology from the University of Missouri – Columbia in
1988. Dr. Humphreys has been in private practice for 22
years specializing in child, adolescent, and adult
psychotherapy. She has experience in a variety of
settings including outpatient, inpatient, hospitals, and
education. Dr. Humphreys has also worked as an adjunct
professor for the University of Missouri – Columbia and
additionally as a consultant for numerous police
departments, adolescent substance abuse environments,
and pediatric and internal medicine facilities.
Additionally, she is a tenured, certified teacher in the
state of Missouri. She has a degree in elementary
education as well as a masters degree in education.
Areas of specialty include autism spectrum disorder,
ADHD, academic and learning concerns, parenting, anxiety
and depression, post traumatic stress disorder, grief,
personal growth, stress, career and work concerns, and
relationship issues. Dr. Humphreys is on medical staff
at Heartland Hospital Systems.
