Weekly Group Therapy

There are three weekly groups facilitated by a licensed psychologist available for those who would benefit from extra support and skill building in addition to individual therapy sessions. Often talking with others who are experiencing similar difficulties provides help and strength with recovery.

Compulsive Eaters Group: (Mondays from 5-6 p.m.- West County): This group is appropriate for those who overeat as a means of coping with stress. The focus is on learning healthier coping and eating skills. A licensed registered Dietitian will co-facilitate this group for some sessions. Contact Ronni Kahn, PhD, at 636-532-9188.

Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa Therapy Group: (Thursday evenings from 5-6 p.m. – West County) This group is appropriate for those who are currently in therapy working to reduce eating disorders symptoms. This group also may be used as follow up to an Intensive Outpatient Eating Disorders Program. Contact Ronni Kahn, PhD, at 636-532-9188.

Men’s Eating Disorders Group: (Thursday mornings from 7:30 – 8:30 a.m.) This group is for men with issues such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating and Compulsive Overeating. Men with eating disorders have a different perspective on their issues than women. Addressing these issues with other men will facilitate achieving health in all aspects. Contact Randall Flanery, PhD, at (636)532-9188.
