Pollard Invited to Serve as ADAA "Master Clinician"
Dr. Pollard was invited to participate in the Master Clinician series sponsored by the Anxiety Disorders Association of America. Social Anxiety Book Receives Distinction
Dying of Embarrassment: Help for Social Anxiety and Phobia was recently recognized by a panel of expert psychologists as a clinically useful and scientifically grounded book. Among 50 top-selling books on anxiety, depression, and trauma, Dying of Embarrassment received the 2nd highest rating. The book was written by Dr. Pollard and 3 colleagues (B. Markway, C. Pollard Will Conduct OCD Training in 2009
Dr. Pollard will be coordinating 2 additional programs on the treatment of OCD in 2009. The programs, entitled the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI), are sponsored by the Obsessive Compulsive Foundation. The BTTI will be held in Tampa, FL March 6-8 and in Chicago June 26-28. Pollard to Speak at Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Dr. Pollard will speak at the Montefiore Medical Center for grand rounds of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in New York on April 23, 2009. His topic will by psychological management of refactory anxiety disorders.

Cathy Lander-Goldberg, MSW, LCSW, recently presented to the Midwest School Social Work Association on "Identifying and Treating Eating Disorders". Social workers from 11 midwest states attended the conference in Clayton, MO.
