St Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute has been providing OCD treatment and anxiety treatment for over 30 years. First established in 1982, the Center for OCD and Anxiety-Related Disorders (COARD) is a multidisciplinary program for disorders involving anxiety or other distressing emotional responses. The Center is active in public education, professional training, and clinical research, but is best known for evidence-based clinical care, including cognitive behavior therapy.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and other anxiety-related disorders are highly prevalent conditions that can disrupt the lives of people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. In Addition to personal distress and disability, the cost of these disorders often includes disruption to the family and a substantial economic burden for society. Fortunately treatment is available at COARD. Our therapists provide the latest cognitive behavior therapies, while psychiatrists offer medication treatments.
