Education & Training

Fellowships, Consultations & More

St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute is proud to offer several educational opportunities and enrichment training to behavioral health professionals in our region. Our highly experienced staff provides knowledge to other physicians and practitioners that are taking the next step in their careers, or those looking to update the way their practice offers care. With decades of experience providing integrated behavioral health care to the St. Louis Metropolitan Area, we’re always excited about the chance to spread that knowledge and increase the quality and caliber of care throughout Missouri.

Learn a bit more about our robust fellowships and consultation opportunities below.

Postdoctoral Clinical Fellowships

Postdoctoral Clinical Fellowships are available in specialized behavioral programs. In addition to their primary area of concentration, fellows will also see individual clients presenting with a full spectrum of psychological difficulties. The Director of Training is based at the Macklind office and will have, at a minimum, one hour of weekly contact with all fellows. Fellowships are scheduled to begin each year in September.

Integrated Care

Our Integrated Care Consulting Team has expertise in integrated care through clinical practice, supervision, training and research contribution. We believe that establishing an integrated care approach involves cooperation and consultation at all levels. We provide training and consultation using a multifaceted approach.

Clinical Practicum

SLBMI offers Clinical Practicum in the Center for OCD and Anxiety-Related Disorders Program (COARD), the Eating Disorders Program, and the Dialectical Behavior Therapy Program. Please see our page on Clinical Practicum for more.
